WelFarmers Consortium Meeting held in Lleida, Spain
More than 40 attendees arrived on Thursday for the event, and the first morning featured a dedicated session for Work Package leaders, who gathered to align efforts and discuss progress. After a networking lunch, all consortium members participated in an introductory meeting to outline the next steps of the project and reinforce shared goals. During this part of the meeting, the eight Regional Network leaders from each country presented the process for collecting good practices in the first round of the project and discussed the challenges and differences encountered in each thematic group.
The day concluded with a guided visit to the Seu Vella de Lleida, one of the city's most iconic landmarks, followed by a group dinner at La Llotja, offering a moment for informal exchange among partners.
On Friday, April 4th, the consortium reconvened to continue working on project coordination, planning upcoming activities, and exploring future dissemination opportunities. In the first part of the morning, an impact assessment of the communication efforts to date was presented, followed by the different Work Packages working to improve and complement the work done in the first phase of the project. After a closing session, participants enjoyed lunch at the Chamber of Commerce of Lleida.
The meeting concluded with a technical visit to the Vall Companys 5.0 farm — a cutting-edge facility showcasing innovation and digitalization in the livestock sector.
