The feed delivery takes into account the pigs' natural behavior, as the animals must activate the hopper to reach the food. This keeps the feeder clean and free of feed residue, helping to maintain a high level of hygiene.
The TUBE-O-MAT® hopper funnel is designed with nearly vertical sides to prevent the dome effect. The feeders have a drinker on each side, allowing the pigs to choose between water, dry feed, or moistened feed.
The drive system of the VI+ models is made of stainless steel and designed for both weaning and finishing. It is simple and very robust. It also has a transparent lid that can be opened for easy cleaning.
