Palay (paddy rice) and corn production in the Philippines hit record levels in 2021 with palay production reaching 19.96 million metric tons (MMT) and corn production reaching 8.3 MMT, respectively. The palay output was 3.4% more than the 19.29 MMT produced in 2020, while corn yield was 2.2% more than two years ago.
