13-Nov-2024 (ago 1 months 8 days)The pre-congress kicked off on October 29 with a welcoming ceremony led by Patricia Rojas Morales, vice minister of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Commerce of Costa Rica. During the opening ceremony, Gabriela Brenes, executive director of CAPORC, and Adriana Peña, technical director of 333 Latin America, highlighted the event's commitment to strengthening the swine industry in the region.
The congress officially opened on October 30 with a ceremony led by Víctor Carvajal Porras, Costa Rica's minister of Agriculture and Livestock, who underscored the importance of the swine industry to the country's economy. Luis Diego Rojas, president of CAPORC, Xavier Salamó, CEO of 333 Corporate, and Reinaldo Cubillos, general manager of 333 Latin America, also participated.
During the three-day congress, the academic agenda included eleven panels with distinguished speakers and moderators, including international leaders who shared their industry experiences and knowledge. The key topics of business management, productivity, efficiency, economy, leadership, and people management were addressed. All of them were based on the event pillars of efficiency and productivity management, leadership and team management, economy and sustainability, internationalization and promotion, and consumption and business management.
The event also included ten workshops with interactive methodologies, where attendees actively participated in co-creation and interaction spaces. This allowed the acquisition of cutting-edge knowledge and the exchange of diverse opinions between participants from various cultures.
Attendees enjoyed innovative spaces that fostered collaboration, a large commercial showcase with renowned companies, and networking areas designed to expand networks, strengthen commercial ties, and facilitate the exchange of ideas in an enriching professional environment.
The closing ceremony was led by Fernando Vargas, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, and Reinaldo Cubillos, who gave the closing remarks and presented special awards to three outstanding leaders: Mario Garro of Grupo Zamora, for his career in the Costa Rican market and the development of Jow as the image of his brand; Jorge Arango of Grupo CAISA, for his 70th anniversary and a lifetime of dedication to the sector; and Erick Morales of Empacadora Toledo for his professional contribution to the development of the industry in Central America. These awards highlighted their commitment to the development and positive impact on the swine industry in the region.
Finally, the 333 Pig Fest was held, an opportunity for attendees, speakers, and sponsors from 26 countries to gather and enjoy a local band.
The 333 Experience Congress Latam 2024 reaffirmed its theme “Union and trust without borders,” further reinforcing its commitment to the sector's growth and consolidation.
