Oestrus

It is the period during which the sow accepts being mounted by the boar. This period normally lasts for 2-3 days (sometimes more time and sometimes less time, depending on the sow). During this period of time, the sow ovulates, so the sow can become pregnant if it is correctly inseminated or mated by a boar.
