Results came back negative to Leptospira spp. (Enzootic Pneumonia), Swine Influenza and Aujeszky’s Disease. The unit was vaccinating the breeding herd against Porcine Parvovirus and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
The European PRRS strain was detected by RT-PCR with a CT of 23.
This economically important disease causes reproductive failure in breeding stock and/or respiratory tract illness in young pigs.
