Needle in neck

Where:

Possible causes: Other

The foreign body found in the neck muscles is a needle that broke upon administration of an intramuscular injection.

This accident is really serious, given that the object might potentially reach the consumer. When such accidents occur, the animal must be marked and segregated so that the foreign body can be removed from the food chain in the slaughterhouse.
