Kidney petechiae in cortex - Atlas of swine pathology

Subacute ASF clinical picture 21 days after experimental infection. The animal showed fever lasting for 1 week (> 40,5 ºC), anorexia and postration. At necropsy the kidney showed petechiae in cortex.
Differential diagnosis should also consider other septicemias.
