Acute ASF clinical picture 9 days after experimental infection. The animal showed fever lasting for 3 days (>40.5ºC), anorexia, and severe prostration. At necropsy there were hemorrhagic renal lymph nodes. Kidneys severely affected and displayed a glomerular capillary thrombosis with fibrin.
The diferential diagnosis must include CSF, salmonellosis and other septicemias.
