Possible causes: Clostridium perfringens

These very congested intestinal loops filled with liquid hemorrhagic content is related to Clostridium perfringens type C infection in suckling piglets. Poor-hygienic conditions, overcrowding and antibiotic treatment are predisposing factors for this infection.
