African swine fever (ASF) virus typically causes haemorrhagic lesions in the gastrohepatic lymph nodes, this lesion is present in most of the cases after experimental inoculation with ASF virulent strains. In the image the peritoneum has been removed to expose the hemorrhagic lymph nodes.
