Diarrhea on the perianal area caused by swine dysentery. The animals had gone off feed, had a fever and loss of body condition. Diarrhea, with white mucofibrous hemorrhagic content and large amounts of mucus, caused by swine dysentery is observed. Differential diagnosis should include gastric ulcer and ileitis. It should be noted that ileitis does not produce mucus in the diarrhea.
