Contagious pleuropneumonia

Where:

Possible causes: App

Contagious pleuropneumonia is produced by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. This bacterium usually produces a unilateral and large focus of necrosis in the lung with hemorrhages and fibrin. Because of that, this lesion is usually called fibrinous-necrotizing, or necrotizing-hemorrhagic pleuropneumonia.
