What insemination method should I use?

We continue our series of articles in which swine reproduction and artificial insemination expert Javier Gil shares key points about proper management to improve fertility and prolificacy. This article addresses the criteria to establish correct insemination methods.

It is imperative to heat detect with the male in front of the sows. The farm worker must play an active role in heat detection; touching, pressing on the sows without scaring them.

The 5th 333 Experience Congress Latam concludes in Costa Rica

The 333 Experience Congress Latam 2024, held over three days in Costa Rica, brought together more than 1,000 participants, 27% of whom were directors and managers of leading Latin American swine companies. Thirty-eight percent of the attendees were from Costa Rica, and more than 60% came from other countries.
