Northern Nigeria Swine Mentorship Program

Northern Nigeria swine mentorship program is a 2 day onsite training and mentorship program organized by 333 Academy for swine producers in the Northern states of Nigeria. This impactful event, themed “Adoption of best practices for sustainable swine production”, will be a large convergence from diverse region of Northern Nigeria bringing together key stakeholders and swine producers in Northern Nigeria. The aim of this event is to foster mentorship, capacity building, and promote the adoption of innovative and sustainable practices in the swine industry in Northern Nigeria through intense training sessions on different aspects of modern swine production. Kaduna state has the largest live pig market in Nigeria located in Kafanchan, southern Kaduna where the swine mentorship program will take place. This is one of the first interventions of 333 Africa to enact best swine management practices in different Africa regions and to support the development and advancement of the pig sector in the African continent.
