ISVEE Conference XII, 2009 Epidemiology Unplugged – Providing power for better health

THE TWELFTH CONFERENCE of the International Society for Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics (ISVEE XII) will be held from 10 - 14 August 2009 in the city of Durban, South Africa.
This is the second time the meeting is hosted on the African continent and the first in southern Africa. We hope to make this a unique experience for all that attend. Not only does the venue offer a sub-tropical environment in which to enjoy the delights that Africa has to offer the global tourist, but it provides a door into a continent abounding with infectious diseases and socio-economic challenges that translate into an epidemiologist’s paradise.
