A Greener Agriculture for a Bluer Baltic Sea

The programme will continue to explore the work in EU and Helcom towards a more sustainable agriculture in the Baltic Sea Region. We expect high level contribution from the Danish Government and the EU as well as scientific and policy oriented key-note speakers in plenary. In addition, there will be parallel sessions on:

•     Baltic Deal Demo-farms and catchment based advisory services,
•     Baltic vision for environmentally optimal manure management
•     Promotion of sustainable agriculture – economic and environmental wins for the Baltic.
•     Regulatory mechanisms for livestock manure related legislation
•     Business networking for technologies for nutrient and drainage management
