Is an annual public meeting held immediately prior to the CRWAD and hosted by the PRRS CAP, National Pork Board and NC-229 Respiratory Diseases Committee.
2011 International PRRS Symposium

The Symposium will be held Friday December 2, 2011 to Saturday December 3, 2011 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago. The symposium will precede the Conference of Researcher Workers in Animal Diseases (CRWAD).

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is the most economically significant disease of swine in the U.S. This meeting brings together an international group involved in all aspects of PRRS research; researchers, students, swine health specialists, and pork producers interested in PRRS virus research are all invited to attend. A broad range of topics - from field studies to highly technical investigations - will be discussed.

Due to the rising costs of hosting a meeting, there will be a registration fee of $75 this year for non-students.  Registration and abstract submissions are now open!
