Bartosz Czarniak

POLSUS, farmer - Poland Author

In 2010, I graduated from the University of Technology and Life Sciences (now Bydgoszcz University of Technology and Life Sciences) with a master's degree in animal science and feed management. Since 2011 I have been independently running a farm focused on pig breeding. Since the very beginning of my professional career, I have been involved in the Polish Association of Pig Breeders and Producers POLSUS. Since 2016 I have been running the Association's Facebook page, where I post weekly analyses of the swine market in Poland, which are quoted on industry portals both nationally and internationally. Since 2021, I have served as the Union's spokesperson. I participate in meetings with politicians to develop solutions to improve the legal conditions for pig farmers and producers. In 2022, I also gave lectures at the College of Vocational Training in Wroclaw. I actively participate in numerous scientific/industry conferences both as an audience and as a speaker.
